Karim Boux and Roel Reynders make up Dreamland and along with other guises and groups they belonged to, they raised the profile of Bonzai to dizzying heights. Mind Penetration, like many of their tracks, hit the rave scene head on and quickly gained a massive following with its bouncy beats and hard edged synths. Most notably though on this one we got a nice round of quirky vocals that always pop up in the right places. Sex and drugs and rock n roll and the timeless c’mon made gave the track a lot of appeal and DJ’s just loved it. Big surprise in the middle of this one, brilliant. On the flip we got the trippy, mind-bending Excalibur that was sure to dig deep into your brain.
