M.I.K.E.’s Mass Effect guise delivered two solid releases back at the turn of the century and here he focused on the deeper side of trance with sprinklings of techno thrown in. Plasma was a solid driving cut that offered no respite making it the perfect track for the headstrong clubber. The B side gave us Alphascan which was originally released on its own alongside Implicit in 2001 and this one was a firm favourite among many with its big arena sound and pumping beats.
