The first release from The Blackmaster was this 1998 cut entitled Faith Forever on Axma. A dark progressive trancer, this one rocked out many venues and would stand out even today with its deep grooving bassline and acid laced hooks. Dark vocals overlay the trance sound perfectly and the main riff will send you high in the sky. The flip featured the equally impressive Trippz which is another fine example of the M.I.K.E./Push universal sound, the guy is simply a genius!
The last in a solid run of top quality tracks for M.I.K.E.’s project – The Blackmaster – Black Is Back took a hard trance stance and wowed the fans once more with its pumping grooves. Since 1998 this project hit the spot with tough driving tracks that appealed to many. The original 12″ came with the fantastic Ultimate Control on the flip.
