Summertime was Velvet Girl’s first rtelease and after years of listening to Laurent Veronnez’s many guises, we thought we’d heard it all, until this one arrived. This one was a game changer for many as it brought in a fresh approach to the trance sound. Swirling pads and a mish-mash of melodies that combined beautifully delivered a euphoric and emotional experience that appealed to millions around the world. The B-side on the original 12″ held the magical Velvet which is considered one of the best from this awesome project.
